Sophie Bouloux, alias Sophie.B est une artiste et réalisatrice
française. Artiste polymorphe, son travail révèle un riche spectre
créatif dont la pratique inclut la poésie concrète, la photographie, la
vidéo et le cinéma expérimental, elle réalise également des créations
sonores sous le nom de Cut-Up. Sa production créative est autonome, sans
règles et tisse un lien étroit entre expérimentation et poésie, créant
une véritable dialectique d'univers intimes et insolites. Ses œuvres
cinématographiques ont été projetées dans des festivals en France et à
l'étranger tels que les Rencontres Internationales Paris/Berlin, L'œil
d'Oodaaq (Rennes), MUFF (Montréal), OFNI (Poitiers), fu:bar (zagreb)
Elle a été l'invitée d'honneur du festival Resistenza Analogica 2007
(Italie) et en 2016 du festival OFNI (France). Elle a participé à
plusieurs expositions collectives, et en 2019, une exposition
personnelle lui a été consacrée à la médiathèque Edmond Rostand à Paris.
Elle anime également des ateliers autour de la pratique du sténopé et
de l'expérimentation photographique, mais aussi des ateliers
d’intervention sur pellicule cinématographique 35 mm.
Sophie Bouloux, aka Sophie.B, is a French artist and director. A
polymorphic artist, her work reveals a rich creative spectrum whose
practice includes concrete poetry, photography, video and experimental
cinema, she also creates sound creations under the name Cut-Up. Her
creative production is autonomous, without rules and weaves a close link
between experimentation and poetry, creating a true dialectic of
intimate and unusual universes. Her cinematographic works have been
screened in festivals in France and abroad such as the Rencontres
Internationales Paris/Berlin, L'oeil d'Oodaaq (Rennes), MUFF (Montreal),
OFNI (Poitiers), fu:bar (Zagreb) She was the guest of honor at the
Resistenza Analogica 2007 festival (Italy) and in 2016 at the OFNI
festival (France). She has participated in several group exhibitions,
and in 2019, a solo exhibition was dedicated to her at the Edmond
Rostand media library in Paris. She also runs workshops on pinhole
photography and photographic experimentation, as well as workshops on 35
mm film.
